We are so excited you are here. For those that don't know us, here's a quick update of how we got here. For the past five years, Seema Boutique has had a physical presence inside Island Ship Center, our existing retail shipping and printing business in Grand Island, NY, seven minutes south of Niagara Falls, USA.
We have five children, three daughters and two sons.
In 2015, Seema started making body care products for one of our younger daughters, who developed an adverse reaction to any lotions or creams with petroleum products. In doing research, Seema found out (at the time) that most lotions contained some type of chemically processed petroleum products. So, she started making a body cream for our daughter, who loved it and used it constantly. Then, our family began using the cream and soon, distant relatives from Florida and New York City began ordering from us.
She added a lip balm and goat's milk soap to her mix and our family loved those as well.
Slowly, Seema started giving away samples of her body cream and soaps to our guests in the store. They encouraged her to start selling these products inside Island Ship Center. Every month, more and more shipping clients started to purchase Seema's Naturals products as well and started loving them.
Three years ago, Kelly S, one of our dear guests, came and purchased many gifts from our store and commented, "Seema, I love shopping here. You have many unique gifts. I just don't like giving the gifts in a bag that says, "Island Ship Center." Maybe you should have a separate name for your retail section, Seema, just a thought." And that's how "Seema Boutique" was born.
Fast forward to 2018, when people became familiar with our body care products and unique gift offerings in the boutique and began asking us for a website to share with their family and friends who couldn't come to Grand Island to shop physically.
For the past two years, we've had a vision to bring our retail products online, including Seema's Natural body care line. We work with many vendors who have graciously allowed us to sell their products online as well as in our store.
So now, thanks to Ryan McCarthy from Social Status Marketing, we are ready to present SeemaBoutique.com to the world. It's ready to launch. We hope you love it and share it with others. Our online store is an extension of our personal selves. We put all our passion, energy, love and character into building this site and Ryan has made it a reality for us. We will continuously be making updates to the site over the next few months.
